Sweet Spots

The best way to go ...: Prescotts' Death by Chocolate is a rich, creamy flourless chocolate torte.

Mum's the word: Bunny's Coconut Cake at Canadian Honker is a local legend. It's been on the menu at the Honker since the restaurant opened in 1985, and is named for Bunny Powers, the mother of owners Joe and Cris Powers.

Gooey goodness: The Chocolate Cobbler at McGoon's is "reminiscent of a brownie," says kitchen manager Corey Elliott, but even more decadent.

Subtle sweetness: When the Broadstreet Cafe was transformed into the more casual 300 First in late March, the new restaurant kept the old restaurant's popular Creme Brulee on the menu.

The old standby: The French Silk Pie at Bakers Square is a perpetual favorite.
